Intermediate Technical English

A 20-day course expanding your technical vocabulary and communication skills for workplace and industrial contexts.

Intermediate Technical English Course

Course Description

This course builds on the Foundation level and is designed for technical professionals and engineers who need to communicate more effectively in English-speaking workplaces. Over 20 days, you will expand your technical vocabulary, improve your ability to explain processes and systems, and develop the confidence to handle common workplace interactions in English.

Classes use the Pearson Technical English 2 textbook and cover 12 units focused on real industrial and workplace scenarios. You will learn to explain technical processes, compare systems and equipment, describe procedures, and discuss services, energy, and measurement. Each unit combines technical vocabulary with practical reading, writing, listening, and speaking tasks. This is the intermediate level of the Technical English pathway at ARX Institute.
